Focus Sprint: Task Timer Privacy Policy

Focus Sprint: Task Timer is designed to help you turn tasks into timed focus sprints. We do not require an account, login, or profile to use the app.

Information You Provide

When you type a task into the app, that text may be sent to the Gemini API to generate a focus sprint. This information is used only to provide the app's AI task breakdown feature.

Local Data

The app stores your saved sprints, completed sprint history, preferences, daily usage count, and streak information locally on your device using Apple-provided storage. This local data is not used for tracking.

You can clear saved sprints and completed sprint history from Settings inside the app. You can also remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.

AI Processing

Focus Sprint uses Gemini AI to generate productivity suggestions from the task text you enter. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information into the task field.

Task text is sent only when you choose to create an AI focus sprint or daily focus plan. You can avoid AI processing by not entering a task or not using the generation feature.

Data Retention

Focus Sprint does not operate a user account system or developer backend for storing your tasks. Locally stored app data remains on your device until you clear it in the app or delete the app.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card information.

Tracking and Advertising

Focus Sprint does not show third-party ads and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children's Privacy

Focus Sprint is not specifically directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
