VoiceTasks (“we”, “our”, the “App”) is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and why. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Voice recordings & transcripts. When you create a note, the audio you record is sent securely over HTTPS to Google’s Gemini API to transcribe it and turn it into structured tasks. The audio is processed in real time and is not stored on any server we control. The resulting notes (transcript and tasks) are stored locally on your device only.
No account data. The App has no login or account system. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location.
Subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your purchase transaction information and an anonymous, app-generated identifier (not linked to your identity) to validate and restore your subscription.
Notifications. Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. We do not send push notifications and do not collect a push token.
Your notes live on your device. You can delete any note at any time, or clear all history from Settings → Clear History. Deleting the App removes all locally stored notes.
All network requests use encrypted HTTPS connections.
The App is rated 4+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
The App does not track you across other apps or websites and does not use third-party advertising.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
