Terms of Use

By installing or using ReplyCheck: Message Writer ("the app", "ReplyCheck") you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please do not use the app.
1. What ReplyCheck is
ReplyCheck is an iOS application that helps you rewrite text messages in different tones using Google's Gemini AI. The app provides writing suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any message before sending it.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ReplyCheck to:
- Generate harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory messages.
- Manipulate, deceive, gaslight, or psychologically abuse another person.
- Impersonate someone else for the purpose of deception or fraud.
- Produce content that violates the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Attempt to extract, scrape, or misuse the Google Gemini API beyond personal in-app use.
ReplyCheck enforces safety guardrails that will refuse or rewrite harmful requests into respectful alternatives.
3. Subscriptions and free trial
ReplyCheck offers two auto-renewable subscriptions: a Weekly Premium plan and a Yearly Premium plan, both with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers where offered. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed by Apple, not by us.
- The free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- You can cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple per Apple's refund policy.
- Premium unlocks unlimited rewrites, screenshot replies, advanced tones, premium templates, additional reply variations, and unlimited saved replies.
4. AI-generated content
ReplyCheck uses Google Gemini to generate writing suggestions. AI can produce inaccurate, biased, or contextually inappropriate text. You are solely responsible for what you ultimately send. We make no warranty that suggestions are accurate, appropriate, or fit for any particular purpose.
5. No professional advice
ReplyCheck does not provide legal, medical, financial, mental health, or other professional advice. Do not rely on rewrite suggestions for decisions in those domains.
6. Intellectual property
The ReplyCheck app, branding, and visual design are owned by their respective creator. The text you input, and the suggestions returned, are yours to use; we claim no ownership over your content.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
ReplyCheck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of ReplyCheck.
9. Changes
We may modify these terms over time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
